Outreach

Below are some outreach activities I have been involved in outside of academics.

Spanish Professional Society

SPS is a social and academic club at Clemson established in 2028 where students can meet new people, expand their network and practice their spanish language skills. I joined SPS my sophomore year and ran the social media accounts my first semester junior year. In SPS I met many new people, created great friendships and was able to create new experiences that allowed me to grow professionally.

During my summers back home in upsate new york I work a summer camp. This summercamp was started by Joe Urshel and run by him and his family. I started attending this summer after Kindergarten. I went all through elementary school and middle school and began working in the summer of 2020. This job has been such an amazing experience and has taught me so much about leadership, responsibility and relationships. Working with kids is one of the greatest gifts of all. Not only has the experience led me to grow into who I am today, it has shown me the importance of teamwork, resilience, and self awareness.
